Second Saturday Garden Walks

April 12 @ 10:00 am 11:30 am

It’s cold. It’s hot. It’s soggy. Now it’s not!
Springtime is planting time in spite of its strange behavior. Get the facts about spring planting and some inspiration, too.
Join WSU Extension Clallam County Master Gardeners at Fifth Street Community Garden, for the first Garden Walk of the season on April12 as they begin their 2025 season!
Find out what’s growing, or could be growing, in our current flip flop weather of sunshine and warmth or drippy and cold.
The walks have something of interest to people new to vegetable gardening, new to the Pacific Northwest, as well as more seasoned gardeners. Both interns and veteran Master Gardeners are welcome! All Master Gardeners earn continuing education credit for attending the walks.
Ask questions and get timely science-based advice. Walk along and learn:

What integrated pest management control measures exist for common pests and diseases.

What needs to be done in the vegetable garden each month
