You can ask all your seasonally relevant landscaping questions while touring Woodcock and if you like to grow your own veggies, come and gain garden tips from experienced growers at Fifth Street in Port Angeles.

Woodcock Walkabouts

Walkabouts at Woodcock are scheduled on the first Thursday of the month from June through September starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden (2711 Woodcock Rd., Sequim). These tours may be general “what’s new at Woodcock” tours, or they may focus on specific topics such as caring for mason bees or topics in the orchard.

Second Saturday Garden Walks

Second Saturday Garden Walks are held on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., April through September, at the 5th Street Community Garden in Port Angeles. Each tour includes topics related to vegetable gardening, herbs, and other food crops that are tailored to what is happening in Clallam County gardens each month.
Come see the 50 plus garden plots of layouts, vertical structures, and successes. They are filled with September’s Second Saturday Garden Walk occurs rain or shine and is free and open to the public.
(Interns and veteran Master Gardeners are welcome! All Master Gardeners can earn continuing education by attending the walk.)
